M7 Real Estate acquired the freehold to a terrace of industrial units in a highly dilapidated condition from the Administrators. Three of the units were vacant and one had a tenant in occupation. The accommodation was to undergo a programme of refurbishment programme and be disposed of within 18 months of purchase.
Darby Keye Property were instructed to provide the new owner with asset enhancement advice; thus enabling the properties to be disposed of on either a freehold or leasehold basis within the desired timeframe and in accordance with the owners strategy for realisation of value.
Darby Keye Property successfully disposed of two of the vacant units on a freehold basis and one on a lease with an option to purchase. All disposals were secured within the desired timeframe at values in excess of those agreed in the initial marketing strategy.
